I’ve got two free books for you today. They are very different from each other, but they are both about revenge.

Title: I Hate Zombies

Author: Shantnu Tiwari

Genres: Comedy, Horor, Zombies

Amazon Rating: 4.5

My name is Blue, and I hate zombies. No, really. For one, they killed my friends. Then they kidnapped my mother. And they have scared all the hot girls away. My best friend Shake hates them too, because they killed our pizza delivery guy, and we didn’t even get a refund. Our dog Gandhi also hates zombies because… well, I don’t know. He’s a dog, and who knows why they do anything? A secret government agency is determined to use our town as an experimenting stage for zombies. But they have crossed a line. They should not have killed our pizza delivery guy…

Have I read this book? Not yet, but I can’t wait to.

Title: The Midnight Sea

Series & Book Number: The Fourth Element, Book 1

Author: Kat Ross

Genres: YA, Fantasy

Amazon Rating: 4.5

Nazafareen lives for revenge. A girl of the isolated Four-Legs Clan, all she knows about the King’s elite Water Dogs is that they bind wicked creatures called daevas to protect the empire from the Undead. But when scouts arrive to recruit young people with the gift, she leaps at the chance to join their ranks. To hunt the monsters that killed her sister.

Scarred by grief, she’s willing to pay any price, even if it requires linking with a daeva named Darius. Human in body, he’s possessed of a terrifying power, one that Nazafareen controls. But the golden cuffs that join them have an unwanted side effect. Each experiences the other’s emotions, and human and daeva start to grow dangerously close.

As they pursue a deadly foe across the arid waste of the Great Salt Plain to the glittering capital of Persepolae, unearthing the secrets of Darius’s past along the way, Nazafareen is forced to question his slavery—and her own loyalty to the empire. But with an ancient evil stirring in the north, and a young conqueror sweeping in from the west, the fate of an entire civilization may be at stake…

Have I read this book? No.

Why did I pick this book for Freebie Friday? The cover got to me. The story sounds more complicated than what I’m in a mood for now, but it’s something I would read, so I figured I’d download it and share it with you.
