Tuesday Tiny Writing Tip #88 – Yet More on Characters

Tuesday Tiny Writing Tip #88 by Dilyana Kyoseva (CatMint5 on wattpad) - Yet More on Characters

What are the most important things to consider when you write a book? The story arc and character development. Today’s tip is simple and it’s going to help with the latter.

I’ve already shared with you the trick of giving your characters one of your own traits that you love, but today I’m going to advise you to give them something else: a background story.

You don’t need to actually have their whole story in your book; it will just be there for your own reference, but writing it will make them more familiar to you and help you understand them better.
