Okay. We had one negative and one positive 10 Ways to Show Your Character is (Irritated and Happy, respectively); today, we are going to show excitement!

Why?

Why not?

Have your character:

  1. grin (widely)
  2. laugh (deep, throaty) or giggle
  3. squeal
  4. speak louder than usual
  5. speak quicker than usual
  6. have excessive amount of energy/be hyper (think kids when they’ve had too much sugar)
  7. be unable to stay put
  8. wave
  9. bounce
  10. walk in a quick pace

As you can see, being happy and excited overlap. You can use excess of energy, confidence, broad smiles and giggling for both.
