My To Review List for August 2020

This month I’m doing something a bit different when it comes to my To Review list: all five books are by a single author. I listened to something of hers in June (it was the audio version of Rago) and since I enjoyed it so much, I went ahead and bought a bunch of her other books. Since I got so many, I thought “Why not dedicate a whole month to her?”

Books by Kasia Bacon - The Order Series (The Mutt, The Highlander, Twenty-One Arrow Salute), Soldiers and Mercenaries (Don't Fight the Spark, When I First Saw Red)

And so, all of this month’s books are by Kasia Bacon. In the order I’ll be reviewing them, they are…

But the day the half-breed called Lochan Féyes arrived at the training camp, my discipline faltered. Because—sweet gods—when I am around that aloof, blue-eyed assassin, my need is uncontrollable Continue reading

What I Think about the Working Stiffs Anthology (Book Review)

It’s one of those rare occasions when I’m reviewing an anthology. This time, I’m going to do it a little bit differently: I’m going to start off with my usual format – blurb and basic info – and end with the buy links. The middle is what will change. First, I’m going to tell you my opinion on the anthology as a whole, then I’m going to give you the blurb to each story and share with you – briefly, in a couple of sentences – what I think of each short. Each story will also have its own individual rating.

Let’s get started!
